First poem

Not Me For Poverty
By Carly Juneau (a.k.a miss smoky desperado)

When it happens to you, eveything seems to change.
What? At this job? Here I have to buy?
Wear these dirty rags, no not I
In this slum? No way my dear!
What have i gotten into? And how did I get here

Suffering is anyplace, any time, anywhere
it even comes  to those with their noses in the air
To her it does not matter what and who you had
So right now you're still alive? Be quiet and be glad.

Someday you'll be a rich man again
Living up your life, however hard it's been
but now you are just like me
welcome to my life. Let's make it through together
hold your tounge and your knife
